Gillian Williamson is a Registered Nurse with experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including Emergency Medicine, Post Anesthetic Care, and health and wellness lead in Acquired Brain Injury Community Rehabilitation. Her experience is both in the public and private fields of healthcare which allows her to understand the challenges of navigating the system. Her experience in both critical and community care has contributed greatly to her passion in mental health and addiction, and trauma-informed care with a focus on accessibility and holistic wellness. Gillian also has received a bachelor degree in psychology as well as further education in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based-Stress-Reduction, and is certifying as a Holistic Nurse Coach and Consultant with the CIINDE.
Gillian prides herself in practicing what she preaches and believes in the importance of lifestyle medicine through holistic health and wellness integration. She is always striving to better herself and enjoys continuous learning with the ultimate goal of improving the well-being of her clients and community. She is thrilled to be working in the field of psychedelic-assisted-therapy as she truly believes in using complimentary and emerging modalities in her client-centered care mentality.
Beyond her role she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, staying active and enjoying the outdoors. Gillian enjoys meditation, yoga, gratitude practice, dance, gardening, and cooking/baking and believes you can find adventure in simplicity.
