I work with individuals and relationships navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity- related concerns, emotional overwhelm, and relational difficulties. My practice commonly includes work with those processing religious or relational trauma, neurodivergent clients, and those in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I also support clients experiencing suicidality, self-harm, burnout, and longstanding patterns connected to shame, attachment, or chronic stress. Many of the people I work with have tried therapy before and are looking for a space where they can engage more openly and honestly. My clinical experience includes a private psychotherapy practice, community-based support work, and counseling with youth in transient housing situations. I have worked with clients presenting with complex trauma, high emotional distress, and long-standing mental health concerns. My approach is built on a client-centred foundation and integrates modalities including attachment-focused work, parts-based approaches, mindfulness, as well as others. I aim to tailor therapy to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. Clients can expect a collaborative, comfortable, and conversational therapy experience. I work at a pace that balances emotional safety with meaningful exploration, especially when difficult experiences or emotions are involved. Sessions may include practical tools, reflective conversation, or deeper processing depending on what feels most useful and manageable for the client. My goal is to create an environment where clients feel supported without feeling pressured or judged. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I have been trained in hypnotherapy, psychedelic-informed care, psychological first-aid, applied suicide intervention, and Gottman relationship therapy. Outside of clinical work, I spend as time outside as I can. I enjoy paddling my kayak, hiking, live music, writing, and spending time with my family.
